Calais Elementary School

Become a “Calais Friend of the Arts,” and make your pledge to Calais Elementary School.  Calais Elementary School honors the arts and our Climate Committee would like to bring Vermont songwriter, Jon Gailmor to our school.  Over the past two years we have adopted our cougar logo and P.A.W.S. motto.    Now in year three we are inviting our students to create a school song with the help of an artist in residency.  In addition, each classroom will compose a song.  A collection of student composed songs will be made into CDs that will be available for purchase by families and friends.  We need your help to bring Jon Gailmor to our school.  We are calling on our friends and businesses to help support the arts through private donation. Presently, “Calais Friends of the Arts” has $500.00 start-up funds.   We are asking for 5 pledges to match this donation; however any contribution is appreciated.
