5th/6th - Earle

Ready to welcome you back!

So far it has been a great start to our year--filled with team building, ice breakers, and learning the rhythms and routines of the day.  The students are eager to learn and express their thoughts and opinions.  It is great to see the problem solving they did in the math packets, hear about their favorite books from over the summer, and find out what they are most excited and curious about for school.

My goal is for us all to reach and stretch, strrrrretch, S-T-R-E-T-C-H our ways of thinking.  Thankfully we can help each other, because we all have different ways of seeing things.  I hope we'll push ourselves in new learning adventures together.  Soon we will set our Hopes and Dreams for the year.

Got garlic?

Thank you to Kelcey, Jayden, Bailey, and Ulrica Hudson--the garden volunteers who were able to help harvest garlic in early August!  We harvested about 100 large and healthy heads of garlic.  Garlic bread sometime in the first days of school anyone?

We'll have plenty of seed garlic to plant some more this October, so we'll make this a Calais tradition!

Your fellow garlic fan,
Ms. Earle
